Mental Health and Wellbeing
At Foxhill, we understand the difficulties and challenges that young people, their families, and the local community can face when it comes to mental health and wellbeing. This is why we work very closely with the Mental Health Support Team and are well into our third year now of working together. A Mental Health Practitioner works in our school setting once per week, delivering some of the things, as outlined below. We are keen for the children in our school, as well as their families, to receive any early help they need with regard to anything mental health related. We are very privileged to have professionals in this field offering their regular support to our school community.


How else do we support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of
pupils in our school?
We have worked with the Educational Psychology Team to look at the approaches, interventions and resources that we have on offer in our school to support pupils at different levels of mental health need, from those who are “thriving”, right through to those few who may need “risk support”.
